Many time I wished for a bracket like this, because I never knew they made one... but now I know, and we've included it in our package, because if you're doing interviews on-the-run, you can have your shotgun mic and a light at the same time without the necessity of carrying a light stand as you maneuver into position.

I can't think of more than two things you'd want on a shoe at the same time, but if you can think of something, then please be our guest, because there's room for three. It mounts onto the camera's shoe and in addition to the shoe mount, a 1/4"-20 thread is also available for attaching the bracket to a tripod, rig, or other bracket featuring a 1/4"-20-threaded mount. The accessory shoes also feature backstops for greater security when attaching accessories. The bottom shoe that attaches to the camera features a locking pin, which keeps the shoe in place and prevents it from rotating during use.

This Rode Mic has an indicator light that turns red to indicate a low-battery status, but you may never see it, because of the battery's long runtime. It also has an adjustable gain and a selectable bass roll-off, to make it easy to optimize the level and tone of your recording for a range of scenarios. This compact shotgun mic also features a shockmount that mounts directly to your camera or boompole to reduce noise from various vibrations, and the windscreen reduces wind noise, making it well suited for outdoor shoots.

The attached 3.5 mm TRS cable ensures easy hookup to your camera, and the dual-mono output means that no channel selections is necessary on your recording device if you are using a separate one.

And we also include a 25 foot extension cable for keeping the mic attached to the camera, if you decide to use it on the boompole.

The Watson 9V Rechargeable Battery has a 100-hour runtime and supports up to 500 charge cycles and we include 2 of them in our package, along the their charger, that can re-charge both of them in less than 2 hours - and we make sure that all the batteries in the package are fully charged when you receive it, so you'll be able to record a full month of talking heads, should the situation arise.

This Charger allows you to re-charge two batteries at a time and has a built-in external AC adapter for providing power, plus an automatic shut-off feature to prevent overcharging and short-circuiting.

There are also 4 LED indicators for displaying charging progress, and a built-in micro-controller to ensure a full charge.
